Sensitive: quick to detect or respond to slight changes, signals, or influences
The identity of being overly sensitive creates obstacles for everyone to reach their full potential. It makes a situation worse and turns those who disagree with you further away from your point.
The analogy in fighting is hard to argue against.
The world throws punches at you. If you allow that to emotionally distract you away from the threat, you are behind the curve. In a fight, you get knocked out.
Our aim as human beings is progression in all areas of the human experience. Being overly sensitive is a means to make our gap of understanding to be never lessened.
